– If I had to choose a primary topic by importance for this name it would be Arthur Rankin Jr., of Rankin/Bass Productions, who had a remarkably high record of producing animated films and television. In any case, the current occupant of this title isn't it. BD2412 T 06:02, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

- https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Arthur_Rankin shows very little traffic but the most common outgoing link is to Jr., which used to be the first link in the hatnote. Probably makes sense to disambiguate and confirm this pattern later. --Joy (talk) 17:50, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nomination, Ortizesp and comment by Joy. There are five men listed upon the Arthur Rankin (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the brief article delineating the 19th-century Canadian political figure confirms historical standing greater than the combined notability of the remaining four men. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 09:27, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nom. When comparing the average monthly pageviews, we can see that Arthur Rankin Jr. dominates the field, and even Arthur Rankin (actor) gets more than four times as many views as the surveyor. Nominator's proposed solution is the best option here. ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 17:14, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
