If anyone has the drive, the first good thing to do here would be adding more cases (and their refs, because I'm sure if someone has the time, they're easy to find on EUR-lex. Wikidea 12:45, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Intro
editI would add in the intro after Its core role is the regulation of monopolies, which restrict competition in private industry and produce worse outcomes for consumers and society [...] that those worse outcomes happen only if certain conditions are verified. As shown by Williamson , if the MC is lowered by an horizontal merger, the monopoly can lower the price, thus benefiting consumers and society. --Lucaccino (talk) 17:10, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Dominance
editI aim to edit the subheading of dominance. I long to give a more detailed discussion in to the three criteria, as given by the Commission's Guidance, in finding whether an undertaking is dominant on the market. My edit will be based heavily upon discussion of the Commission's Guidance as well as recent and relevant case law. Charlottehassall (talk) 10:55, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
Abuse of Dominance
editI would like to insert a more in-depth analysis for the meaning, abuse of dominance. I aim to give a detailed discussion with supporting references towards the definition of abuse, along with how the abuse is identified and the steps taken from the Commission from a per se illegality to effects-based approach giving a critical analysis of the approach given by the European Union. --David12435 (talk) 10:08, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
Single Market Abuse
editI plan on expanding the 'Single Market Abuse' section by sub-dividing it into the two main categories: pricing practices and non-pricing practices. Then, I will add some new cases to enforce the existing information and its significance to the law, as well as introduce some new information with citations to EURLEX and academic books. It appears that this draft is actually a proposal to expand a section of this article. Robert McClenon (talk) 15:12, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
- Yes it is, my mistake - I have expanded that section now AndreiN16 (talk) 14:35, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
too hard to read
editI struggled to understand this article, and I'm an educated adult. Is there a way it could be rewritten to be more easily readable? I saw this in the commmunity portal area for articles that need help.--MaxineJP (talk) 19:24, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
