Biased Article
editThis article reads much like promotional material, as if written by the company itself. What is the significance of TAE? What was "so good" about the Minimoog emulation?! This is just marketing in my opinion. I think this article should be trimmed down to present the facts and nothing more. Any objections? --Danny Darko 16:39, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think I wrote the article (can't remember). TAE is significant in that it models physical components in software. However a physical resistor acts - so does TAE. However a real-life capacitor acts - so does TAE. Previously, emulations might employ a sample of the original oscillator as a base, then modify it. TAE recreates the entire schematic of the machine. The Minimoog emulation... why was it so good? You'd have to ask Bob Moog who actually endorsed it. Well of course, he's passed on, but Moog had a new company and still chose to endose Arturia's stuff. I think they should also be classified under "Companies of France". And no, I don't work for the company, however their products are amazing. Dougieb 01:15, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
No objections
edit- Wikidelia is not to do marketing, I read the article and I have the same impression, for exemple, if the article talk about Arturia , why it must to presentate ALL of its products?? a little link to the website is enought!!
Fair use rationale for Image:ArturiaLogo.jpg
editImage:ArturiaLogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- I just noticed that Frederick Brun (one of the co-founders of Arturia) authorized the use. I removed the tag. Dougieb 20:13, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Arturia no longer just a software company.
editWith the releasing of the minibrute, an analog synthesizer, it would certainly be more accurate to say that Arturia is a synthesizer, or music company, with its main focus being its Virtual instruments. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.108.20.118 (talk) 04:00, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

editProposed split
edit- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- Consensus to split off Arturia#Products as List of Arturia products. Felix QW (talk) 11:47, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
Because the list at Arturia § Products takes up so much more screen space compared to the rest of the article, I propose that the article be split into Arturia and List of Arturia products. This appears to have been done in the past, e.g. with Korg and List of Korg products, and might work well here. sporeball (talk) 18:34, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
