Confusion with another Arturo Alvarez: Mexican footballer formerly with Puebla F.C..

edit

I have temporarily inserted a disambiguation-style link to a page about a different footballer named Arturo Alvarez. On the other page, I added a similar link pointing back to here. I had accidentally navigated to Arturo Alvarez (footballer) (a retired Mexican player) instead of here for the currently active American/El Salvadorian football player.

Page Title Status Nationality Occupation Club League
Arturo Alvarez Current American/El Salvadorian footballer Real Salt Lake MLS, USA.
Arturo Alvarez (footballer) Former Mexican footballer Puebla F.C. Mexico.

Although it applies equally to both, only the second page has (footballer) in its title. I think these two titles should better reflect their difference(s), such as current status, nationality, club, or league. I am uncomfortable modifying the title of biographies of living persons, and thus ask if a more experienced editor can determine appropriate titles (and either remove or update my cross links).

By the way, I am pretty sure that the above two people aren't related, but perhaps this guy is!
