editThis entire article reads like it was taken straight from his website. Needs to be changed to sound like an encyclopedia, not an advertisement.
- I've cut the section that was essentially the same as his website. EddieHugh (talk) 22:16, 22 July 2015 (UTC)
First line
editI don't like that he's a "jazz trumpeter and pianist" when his quote near the bottom says he doesn't want to be remembered as a jazz trumpeter. I don't know how better to word it; his trumpet playing should be highlighted, but he also plays piccolo, flute and trombone and he scats on some recordings. And saying "jazz" too is maybe too limiting. If you mention jazz, you should probably mention Cuban music also. Roberthoff82 09:46, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

editI would say that "he is a versatile musician that is prominent with Jazz performance" that way you do not necessarily attribute
Arturo Sandoval as strictly a Jazz Trumpeter. JBozeman74983 03:58, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Singing? Timbales?
editIs it worth mentioning that he sings? He did so on "Every Day I Think Of You", both on record and at the White House. He often plays timbales live, too. 79.70.189.40 (talk) 22:17, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
