64.221.241.78, should you ever visit this page again I reverted your additions because this article is about the specific model of camera known as the "Asahi Pentax", not an article about Pentax corporation in general. Therefore your discussion of the K1000 and the K mount is not appropriate for this page. You could try expanding the main Pentax article, or even better, start an article about the K1000.

Project Assessment

edit

A nice start, but a bit short, and listing no sources. Should not the word "camera" appear far earlier in the article? LordAmeth 22:20, 20 December 2006 (UTC) I noted that the claim that Pentax is the only digital camera using older film lenses. Nikon maintains as much or more compatibility among older film lenses as Pentax. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nikonhudson (talkcontribs) 13:11, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Film speed reminder

edit

Currently the article claims:

... film speed reminder around the film rewind crank, a location that remained standard even when the dial went from being merely a reminder to the photographer to actually controlling the light-meter built into later SLRs.

The position only remained there until the SV. The Spotmatic has the film speed setting in the shutter dial on the right. I'll changed the article accordingly. Groogle (talk) 05:05, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
