editAshtom Music is so dominant in Australian guitar sales, I thought it deserved a Wikipedia entry.
Because the Australis Music Group (the parent company of Ashton Music) has a website that is Flash based, I could only link to the front page of it. Ideally, I would have provided a reference to the exact text that said it is the leading brand in Australia in unit terms. However, I could not do this with a Flash based website where there is no address for discreet pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lester (talk • contribs)
- It certainly deserves an article, but I've decided to start again rather than restore the CSD'd version. Feel free to contribute to it. Andrewa (talk) 01:31, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, the flash website is a bloomin' pain! I wonder whether the website designer ever considered that most modern browsers are tab-based, and that most people want to be able to follow a link to a new tab, leaving the old page open too, when they choose to?
- It's a classic example of a site that looks great in the boardroom, but actually loses the company customers in practice. Andrewa (talk) 01:42, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
