Merge
editRochelle School (Ireland), Cork Grammar School and Ashton School all have near identical content. Unless, in the short term, there are plans to expand the content beyond a simple DICDEF summary, then the content should likely be merged. Not least as all 4 criteria for WP:MERGEREASON seem to be met (same scope, same content, same context, all overlap). As the remaining institution, Ashton School seems like the most likely target of a merge/redirect clean-up. Unless there are other thoughts, I may undertake this change in the coming days. - It's been a few weeks since my note above. Unless there are other thoughts, I'll move ahead with the merge(s) myself. Guliolopez (talk) 02:41, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
- Resolved. Not having heard anything for some time, I went ahead and completed the merge/redirect. Guliolopez (talk) 17:28, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
Alumni
editIn this edit by Bogle, the "alumni" section was updated to include Daniel O'Donovan (Irish republican). The subject's own article doesn't state that he was a pupil. Rather that he led a group who took arms from the school. It would seem an intriguing choice of school for O'Donovan's parents. So, what's the source for the inclusion? Or, Bogle, was this perhaps an error caused by a misinterpretation of a backlink check? (On the assumption that it was/is an error, and pending a source confirming his attendance as an actual pupil, I've removed him from the alumni list). Guliolopez (talk) 19:59, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
