This article states "his remains were taken to the Panthéon, in an official procession attended by all left-wing political movements except the Communist party." Other sections of the article refer to "Communists."
The problem is that it's not clear what party this is exactly. "Communist party" is just hyperlinked to the generic article, so to a specific French communist party. The French Communist Party wouldn't be founded until 1920, six years after the Jaurès assassination.
