those are more or less ordinary police officers in lebanon, army soldiers wear green/brown military camouflage, personnel in these uniforms do very day-to-day jobs, they are not soldiers as far as i know.
police in regular uniforms are quite rare. see image results: http://www.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&biw=1584&bih=767&tbs=isch%3A1&sa=1&q=police+in+lebanon+beirut&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.198.23.147 (talk) 16:28, 16 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Imad Mughniyeh

edit

http://www.foreignpolicy.com/articles/2010/12/14/the_missing_assassin Imad Mughniyeh, Hezbollah's chief of operations until his own assassination in Damascus in 2008, likely played a role in the massive car bombing that claimed the lives of the former Lebanese prime minister and 22 others in Beirut.

Should he get a link from this page? Hcobb (talk) 18:28, 24 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
the page is pathetic. The big controversy is omitted. If AT LEAST the enourmous crater could be mentioned. You don't take conclusions from the Messan article but it *is* required reading to read about the "forbidden" other points of view... Which 50% of the Lebanese people (but who cares about them!) subscribe to. 203.184.41.52 (talk) 07:04, 23 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Should they really be there twice? The first part in the introduction seems superflous. I'll edit it out and leave the second part in. Feel free to put it back if you feel it's better. TheMaskedTom (talk) 12:33, 21 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
