Rewrite
editPage largely rewritten to place in international historical context and to link to other pages
2016 this article is focussed on "funding" - ie. the banking side of ALM - and not the importance of the liability and asset calculation, calibration, seleciton and mangement as prevalent within asset manager, insurer and GFI firms. Suggest major rewrite.
Article removal stopped
editAlthough this article needs a rewrite - it is a subject that is not covered enough in WP and can be salvaged.--Gregalton 01:17, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Article and rewrite
editThis article name should be clarified as it is at least as often called "Asset & Liability Management". The current name, although commonly used, makes it sound like managing the down-side of owning an asset. Probably need a redirect from that name.
