editI have added a definition, an example of AAUs from the UNFCCC, linked to other Kyoto-related pages and removed the issues tag. Mrfebruary (talk) 11:26, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Who can have, buy and sell AAU's?
editIn the EU ETS, only governments of the members of the EU can obtain AAU's in their registry. I understood they are then converted into EUA's, part of shich are then passed on to the companies that need allowances to emit CO2e.
How is it in the rest of the world? A company gets AAU's and if it doesn't use them all up, it can then sell them to other governments or companies that need them? --SvenAERTS (talk) 11:30, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
