The Birds

edit

Could we get some references to the car used in the Hitchcock film "The Birds". That paragraph is poorly written and is vague. Why exactly would you put a V8 in a DB2/4? What does "Roadability" mean? I doubt fitting a V8 in a car designed for a straight 6 would qualify as "restored"! Undercarriage? What's an undercarriage on a car? The offside wing had a crease in the alloy just below the headlamp if that's the film damage then its the bodywork. Destroyed or "insurance write-off" are better terms than "totalled". Also there are plenty other mentions of this car on the internet as still being extant. Anyone with any first hand experience care to comment? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.148.39.50 (talk) 21:34, 13 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
