editRegarding the tone template, the following are to be noted:
- The career and awards list is essentially a list in prose form, better expression needed. Also, one needs to actually describe her career and not just make a list of awards.
- The tone is more of a one usually employed on a personal website or other such things, is not quite promotional, but quasi-promotional-like. Needs to improve, a lot. Made some edits in this regard. MxWondrous (talk) 13:06, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- Hey. I stumbled upon this article. I saw the templates and naturally wanted to improve this article so they can be gone--but after reading the article, I'm sturggling to understand the problem with it.
- Although the career segment is quite boastful, it's factually correct and in my opinion fitting.
- Can you explain more specifically what needs to be changed? I'm quite keen to improve this article and would like some explanation on what work needs to be done.
- Thanks. AvivBn263 (talk) 17:08, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
Adressing the templates
editI tried improving the article's tone, specifically the 'Career and Awards' section (now named 'Career').
@MxWondrous – do you find the changes adequate? If so, I'd be more than happy to know what's left to change. AvivBn263 (talk) 17:40, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
Regarding the recently added COI template – @Lute88, if the template was placed due to my edits, I'd like to make clear that I have no connection to the article's subject. I don't know how you'd like me to prove that, but that's the reality.
I just saw that you had reverted some of my changes regarding Baltsan's Hatikvah book. I am not very familiar with the English Wikipedia's guidelines and norms regarding such statements (as my experience mainly includes Hebrew Wikipedia); if these edits contradict any guideline, I truly apologise. I will, in my defense, state that in Israel Baltsan is quite known for this book and lecture (it's a required for lecture for some high schools and ), but I will admit that I do not know how the claims made there hold with academic concensus on the matter.
I'm truly devoted to improving this article, and would like to know how it can be improved. Thanks! AvivBn263 (talk) 19:17, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- I returned most of the text regarding Hatikvah. Even if the book's acceptance is in doubt, the book and show's existence cannot be refuted, and they at least deserve some mentioning in this article as a major part in the subject's biography. AvivBn263 (talk) 20:17, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- The article cites many credible sources .The part regarding Hativkah research is especially meaningful and should not be omitted. ענת מיתר (talk) 16:40, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
