Two wives, not one.
editI am adding the name of the second wife of the Prophet Muhammad, Aisha bint Abu Bakr. As the Surah is clearly talking about two wives. See: 66v4: "If you two [wives] repent to Allah , [it is best], for your hearts have deviated. But if you cooperate against him - then indeed Allah is his protector, and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are [his] assistants."
Evidence of the second wife is too well-documented to textually contend, but the chapter's prologue in 'The Maening Of the Glorious Koran' (A mainstream translation) by Marmaduke Pickthall should suffice as a prime-reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 105.236.192.170 (talk) 21:15, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
