This article really needs a copyedit. Quick examples: leeping / sleeping, ANkara / Ankara, fetures / features. Since the same thing was pointed out at Template:Did you know nominations/Ecem Güzel, I would advise copy-editing articles before submitting to DYK in future.

Hook needs rephrasing but it is interesting. I would suggest: "that the railway management building at Ankara Central Station served as a residence and headquarters for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during the Turkish War of Independence and is now a museum (pictured)?"

QPQ: - y QPQ at Template:Did you know nominations/Marie Hassenpflug is currently paused. Nominator has made 4 DYKs, but also has Ecem Güzel Template:Did you know nominations/Ecem Güzel in process. [struck out as wrong]

- Thank you very much for your review. I corrected the typos as listed by you. Thanks also for your advise on reading before submitting. One overlooks sometime typos in his own text. "Nobody is perfect". I wonder if there is more for copyediting. Please advise. I added ALT1 as your suggestion. I had omitted the surname of Mustafa Kenal in the original hook because he adopted it only after 1934, the enacting of the Surname Law in Turkey. About QPQ: "Nominator has made 4 DYKs, but also has Ecem Güzel in process." I couldn't understand what you mean. What does this DYK-nom to do with "Ecem Güzel" nom? CeeGee 09:00, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- ALT1 ... that the railway management building at Ankara Central Station served as a residence and headquarters for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during the Turkish War of Independence and is now a museum (pictured)? CeeGee 09:00, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hiya CeeGee, thanks for reply. Yes I agree nobody is perfect and we can miss a typo or two, but I still feel this could do with a copy edit, for example the times don't fit MOS:TIME and I'm not sure what "arched windows are artless" means. I'd be happy to help with copy-editing future articles but i don't think that's my job here.
- Thank you for pointing out the issue with the "artless". I'm gonna fix it. This is due to my poor foreign language English knowledge. Besides, I don't ask you to copyedit at all, but it's helpful to know what is not in order. CeeGee 11:42, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- Sure so when the article is copyedited and the review goes through then it's good to go Mujinga (talk) 13:55, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- ALT1 looks pretty good, I'm fine with the name going back to Mustafa Kemal if you feel it's more accurate, but since he is now known with surname I thought that was more appropriate. Can you add it below the original hook?
- I can do it, but it is not necessary. CeeGee 11:42, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- On QPQ, sorry I wasn't clear. Wikipedia:Did_you_know#Eligibility_criteria 5 states "Exception: If, at the time a nomination is promoted to the main page, its nominator has fewer than five DYK credits (whether or not self-nominated) then the nomination is exempt from QPQ" so you can have your first five DYKs without doing a QPQ. So this might qualify as your fifth QPQ or it might be your sixth if Template:Did you know nominations/Ecem Güzel is approved first. Hope that makes sense. Mujinga (talk) 10:01, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- I guess you mean me. I have 206 DYK credits at the moment. I am a little bit confused. I guess I didn't understand you again. CeeGee 11:42, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- Wow that's weird! QPQ check gives four notices so I thought you were a newbie to DYK like me, sorry for that!! I'll adjust what I wrote above. Mujinga (talk) 13:54, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- No problem. You could see at least the "The 200 DYK Creation and Expansion Medal" on my talk page. It is possible that "DYK check" reports only for the current year. Anyway, I hope your review is still in progress. CeeGee 17:28, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- Yes the review is still in progress, per this: "Sure so when the article is copyedited and the review goes through then it's good to go" Mujinga (talk) 18:42, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Mujinga: Copyediting is now complete. Please check. CeeGee 08:29, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- article has been copyedited, review has been done so it seems this is good to go for ALT1 Mujinga (talk) 18:00, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
