NASDAQ listing

edit

When I click this, I get a message that ATPL "is an unknown symbol." When I search Nasdaq for companies starting with "Atlantis", it finds four of them, but none is Atlantis Plastics. On their 10-K filing for 2006, they do say they are listed on Nasdaq. Anyone know what's going on? Were they de-listed since 2006? --Art Smart (talk) 14:57, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm confused too... they still seem to be listed as publicly traded on some sites, but seem to have been delisted from NASDAQ in March of this year [1] --Rividian (talk) 14:58, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Apparently "common shares will be listed on the OTC Pink Sheets trading under the ticker "ATPL""... I'm not sure how to phrase that in the article. --Rividian (talk) 15:01, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Pink Sheets says "Pink Sheets LLC is neither a NASD broker-dealer nor registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; it is not a stock exchange." Until we can figure it out, probably best to remove the external link for now since it's non-functional. --Art Smart (talk) 15:09, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Does it look okay now? I could only find bare bones info on the delisting, but we're apparently doing better than any of the news outlets covering the shooting, which don't even mention the delisting in recent stories. I think we have the stock listing covered correctly now. --Rividian (talk) 15:14, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Probably best to show "OTC" instead of "Public", since it's almost completely unregulated. --Art Smart (talk) 15:18, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Their website is acting as a search engine only (and not within the site, but online in general), their phone number is disconnected, and there are articles such as Atlantis Plastics files Chapter 11 [1] 173.164.147.17 (talk) 23:59, 22 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
