It would make sense for this article to expand the history and cover the full series of publications, from Perring & Walter's 1962 edition, right up to Preston, Pearman and Dines' 2002 New Atlas of the British & Irish Flora, and incorporating the 1968 Critical Supplement. I think this would make a well-rounded and more notable article, and probably not even need a name-change. I hope others agree? It has been added to my 'to do' list!
