Page title
editThis page should likely be moved to a better title. It should have the year range 2004-2007 in front rather than just 2005. Also, it maybe be worth adding assassinations in the title since we also have one or two political assassinations that weren't bombings. Maybe something like 2004-2007 Lebanon bombings and assassinations? I'm not sure exactly, but it should be discussed. ← George [talk] 10:05, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- I agree we should change the title, though I can't think of one that wouldn't be long (Post-2005 bombings and assassinations in Lebanon) or simply too vague (Bombings and assassinations in Lebanon). I also think we should work on getting sources for all of these incidents; this page could become a useful research tool for Lebanon history scholars. PBP (talk) 05:22, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- Title and scope should be changed. FunkMonk (talk) 17:03, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
As of July 2011 the title is "Lebanon bombings and assassinations (2004–present)". "Present" isn't a word that should be used (WP:DATED). "Lebanon bombings and assassinations (From 2004)" is obvious; or "post-" or something that makes sense if read in 2021. Pol098 (talk) 20:45, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
We had nearly 30 bombing in the country
editThe article lists only 16. Also we had other bombings before 2005.Robin Hood 1212 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 19:58, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
How many people died
editThis article states 21 people died. The article on Rafiq Hariri, however, states 22 people died. Thank you for clarifying.Riemerb (talk) 09:41, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Also, Naharnet.com reported that 8 people had died in addition to Antoine Ghanem, not 4 as reported by USA Today. Can anyone confirm the exact number?Riemerb (talk) 09:40, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Merging with List of attacks in Lebanon page?
editI had just started a page about the attacks happening in Lebanon since 1975. Then I discovered this page that has the 2005 bombings. Clearly there is some overlap between the two pages. How about merging them into one page covering all attacks in Lebanon? Riemerb (talk) 09:41, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- What about simply making this article about post-civil war assassinations? The current scope seems a bit arbitrary. FunkMonk (talk) 21:55, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
POV & Bias
editThis article is dubious, it lack sources and are obviously anti-Syrian in the very approach of the text. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NPz1 (talk • contribs) 21:21, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
