It strongly hints
edit- "The IRA discontinued these attacks; it strongly hints that security was tighten around the Lough, especially from the Irish side, since the seaborne assaults were originated in the Republic."
I would edit this sentence for grammar, but I'm not quite sure what it means. Can somebody clarify/tidy? Scolaire (talk) 12:19, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- That's much clearer now. Thank you. Scolaire (talk) 21:07, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Maybe not piracy?
editAttacks on shipping by the IRA may not properly be classified as piracy, so maybe the piracy template does not belong on here. What do other editors think?--DThomsen8 (talk) 15:02, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I am the user who put this article under the scope of WP Piracy...I think however that I was wrong: the template is intended for "criminal acts" on the sea, a definition that falls shorts of the usual Guerrilla/Terrorism/Freedom Fighters categorization of the IRA, depending of the differents PoVs. I will remove the template immediatly. Regards.--Darius (talk) 20:56, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
