This is one of the best, easy to understand explanations of attenuation and the attenuator region in prokaryotic DNA. -jorgeKluney —Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.53.110.141 (talk) 20:17, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Indeed this is a very good explanation, therefore it seems to be seperated into two redundant part, when the second part is more precise. Just in case someone is interested in improving the article... --84.228.10.134 (talk) 15:11, 10 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Indeed the first part is pretty imprecise and could be simplified. The second paragraph with a more detailed explanation is good. --TransControl (talk) 08:47, 16 April 2013 (UTC)--Reply

Rename article?

edit

This article seems to be entirely about peptide leaders. I suspect attenuation is actually a much more generic phenomena including certain riboswitches. I suggest renaming the article Peptide leader. --Paul (talk) 13:08, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Article has now been expanded to mention other examples and classes. --james 04:40, 21 November 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Some.scruffy.kid (talkcontribs)

Cleanup of the trp operon section

edit

This section is lacking references and could be integrated with the section "Mechanisms in the trp operon". --james 04:46, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
