Untitled talk page discussion by 87.162.10.194
editI'm not sure about the WP policy, but shouldn't the original sense (boldness) go first? I use the audio editor and like it, but I don't think it is more notable than the 500 year old, quite common word for a human quality it derived its name from.--87.162.10.194 (talk) 12:11, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Chutzpah
editIs it right to include this word as part of the definition? This is the english language page, and thus is not any other language definiton in the wrong place? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.158.225.255 (talk) 23:33, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- I think this word its pretty widely understood in the English-speaking world. - Ahunt (talk) 00:37, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- The word is widely understood in much of the English speaking world and is also linked so that anyone who doesn't understand it can read what it means. I don't think much of a case has been made to delete it. - Ahunt (talk) 14:42, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- One of the beauties of the English language is its readiness to incorporate words from other languages. Chutzpah is a case in point.TheLongTone (talk) 14:50, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
I concede my ignorance of the matter, but on the grounds that the article is amended to state its common usage only as a written device. Any thoughts? 5.81.157.178 (talk) 17:08, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- Since the term is wikilinked I don't see any need to change anything. Anyone who isn't familiar with the term can click on the link. - Ahunt (talk) 22:48, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
