- The metal coin shows Frederick as an emperor, in classic attitude, and is texted in Latin.
- The reprint aof a coin's relief from British Museum is texted in Latin and/or Greek and in Arab lettres. This combination obviously refers to Frederick II., who was familiar in European as wall as Arab culture. And the lion rather refers to the Kingdom of Sicily. What colour has the coin represented by this print of the relief?--Ulamm (talk) 10:44, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
