Katy
editK2 (KTwo) was affectively nicknamed "Katy", even after WWII, by US and Britt troopers in occupied Germany of the '50s.
Why is this included in "US soft-skinned vehicles"?
editThis vehicle is included in the category "US military soft-skinned vehicles of World War II". However, it was not designed, produced or procured by or for any of the the US military service branches, and I can find no evidence that it was used by the same, other than perhaps incidentally in the field. Can anyone explain its inclusion in this category? Bricology (talk) 21:26, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
- Added by @Cavalryman: with this edit, perhaps they can explain. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 21:44, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
- Having just checked, it seems that Cavalryman has not edited since apparently losing an argument here. I see no issue with removing the category, if someone comes up with a justification for its inclusion it can be added back in. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 04:15, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
- Seems to have been used by USAAF (supplied under reverse lend lease) but that doesn't meant criteria for category inclusion, so I'd remove it.GraemeLeggett (talk) 11:22, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
