Work in Progress
editThis entry is being worked on as part of a student project, and so it is a work in progress, but references exist to satisfy all of the requirements and solve all the flagged issues. Thndrbkt (talk) 21:48, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
- What is the subject of the project? Spumuq (talq) 12:13, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Spumuq and Spumuq: Notable academics with schizophrenia. Maybe you can answer questions on necessary citations for the complete list of books this man has authored and Awards he has won. Secondary sources exist for all his awards and books, but the original list of his awards and publications was deleted, and individual citations for each of his books would be messy. What can be done to ensure his awards and publications do not get deleted again? Thndrbkt (talk) 18:48, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
Meets notability guidelines
editSpecifically, he meets these criteria: 2. The person has received a highly prestigious academic award or honor at a national or international level. (Was awarded the Order of Canada) 3. The person is or has been an elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association (e.g., a National Academy of Sciences or the Royal Society) or a Fellow of a major scholarly society for which that is a highly selective honor (e.g., the IEEE). (Was elected to the Royal Society of Canada) 7. The person has made substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity. (He is a well known and valuable advocate and activist for mental health issues and his work against the stigma of mental illness has earned him many awards and accolades from various organizations) Thndrbkt (talk) 15:38, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
