List of U.S. officials

The list of Principal U.S. Officials copied from the DOS Background Notes is outdated, doesn't say when the Background Notes were accessed, is hard to maintain, and I don't see its usefulness in general. I'd rather mention the U.S. ambassador instead, who currently isn't mentioned at all, and provide a link to the Principal U.S. Officials at the Background Notes as a reference. -Nikai (talk) 12:01, 19 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
