Improving article
editI hope to work on this in the coming days (probably weeks or months), but would like some input. I propose that this be organized by factory, with an overview covering the rise and decline over the years, rather than the existing layout. I also would like to see any individual plant articles, such as Flint East and Flint Truck Assembly, merged into this article, with redirects. I think that would help to improve this article immensely. I would also like to add some pictures of the various plants. Any ideas or comments? --Scottr76 01:57, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
I also think this could use some more information regarding Flint's role in the formation of General Motors, the Sit-down strike and the 1998 strike, so that it a history of the Flint Auto Industry, not just a history of Flint Auto Factories. The 50-millionth GM car parade in November 1954 could be an addition too.--Scottr76 04:31, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
