editI've recently made some minor edits to the page that reflect updates to the executive leadership, number of employees and a recent acquisition CloudTalent, which happened in August this year.
Avanade has been very focused on supporting women in business (notably technology) and has invested in several programs to date. There is also a $500,000 scholarship program for women interested in STEM with three leading universities (see http://www.itpro.co.uk/public-sector/25293/ucl-signs-up-to-avanades-stem-scholarships-for-women). I am hoping that one of the page editors would consider adding it.

edit12/11/2007: The criticism section mispresents the cited articles. Both articles describe a "scathing report outlining the missteps made by the state of Colorado." as stated in one article but quote statements from the report implying they refer to Avanade. Needs to be revised. Whatever the original authors intention was...there are some blatant POV issues with this section. -Wilson — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wilson5050 (talk • contribs) 20:51, 11 December 2007

The page read as an advertisement for the company, I attempted to rewrite it in a form which did not negatively portray the corporation, but which also did not subject Wikipedia to spamming. I will leave the page as is, and see if there is any response by the company. Hopefully it will remain close to the current format, otherwise the page will likely have to be marked as spam. 67.134.36.193 16:15, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Comments on the history of this document....
(cur) (last) 22:15, 30 November 2005 Kiand (copyvio) had marked the page as invalid. -- "What appears appeared looks like it was a rehash of common elements from “Avanade’s About” page. Close call there, maybe."
(cur) (last) 07:10, 2 December 2005 Bdelisle "(The other version marked as (copyvio) might be ok, it appears edited enough. However here is a stub of a starter version alternate. I know people there and can ask.)" -- Appears to be clear of “copyvio” errors and this version seems to have better formatting with the inclusion of the “Infobox_Company” section.
New vewsion as Avanade/Temp that should not have the apparent copyvio issue.
copyvio page rewritten for Avanade
I recently saw a page on a company that was marked as for deletion due to copyvio. According to the instructions at the time I made a new page as “/Temp” that is new content and not copyvio per instructions was on the orgional location. The original page has since been purged. The /Temp which is (appears to be) clear of copyvio is still there and could probably be moved in to place now that the copyvio page is gone. The original page was Avanade the new rewrite is Avanade/Temp or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avanade/Temp Thanks Bdelisle 21:03, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
- Nevermind - I thought the "Move" command would only mark the article to be moved from /Temp to / and an administrator would take care of it. It appears that the "Move" command actually moved the article from Avanade/Temp to Avanade. Sorry if that was a problem. OOPS! Bdelisle 21:16, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
The page contains some references to notes that don't exist —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.208.31.218 (talk) 19:46, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Introduction re-wording
editThe introduction should probably be reworded so that it doesn't so like a defunct company in the opening sentence. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 21:10, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
