Fair use rationale for Image:Xtra Airways logo.png
editImage:Xtra Airways logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Tuscon Route Source / Citation
editAvelo has removed the route from their route map on their website, and an article by ThePointsGuy is the only article I see regarding the ending of the route. It is not currently considered a valid source however, re: Talk:The_Points_Guy. It presumably is a terminated route; however, there appears to be no valid source for the actual end date. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.40.255.42 (talk) 17:44, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

How can Red Lion Casino have its own airline, but no Wikipedia article?
editRed Lion Casino doesn't seem widely covered enough to meet the general notability guidelines, yet it was somehow big enough to have its own jet airline?
How does a random casino in a small Nevada city get to that point? Galagora (talk) 17:05, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- Fair point hahaha, I feel like this page could be reformatted and cleaned up a bit because the previous airlines that Avelo was built off of were not that big and hardly comparable to Avelo today. Some should be split to their own page and referenced instead of how they are all combined into the Avelo article. Funforme3 (talk) 21:13, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think the other airlines are notable enough for their own independent articles. But if the information is out there we can definitely stand to add a bit more information about Casino Express, particularly who founded it, its relationship with Red Lion (was it owned by it or an independent contractor), and whether it was a common carrier or only offered charter flights.
- I was very intrigued to casually see the sentence: "the air carrier began operations in 1989 using Boeing 737-200 jetliners flying exclusively for the Red Lion Hotel and Casino". When I searched up Red Lion Hotel and Casino, it looked barely big enough to have its own airport shuttle.
- Of course, this information might not be out there, or might not be in reliable sources, in which case there's little we can do. But origin stories in aviation are rarely boring. Galagora (talk) 22:02, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- I agree, maybe even going to the point of making the airlines a stub page would be sufficient enough to at least link and reference the airline. Possibly overtime more people would have more information to add to it. Funforme3 (talk) 22:06, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
