- That's a good question. Mark Serwotka takes the average wage of a PCS member, John Marek the average national wage (of Wales or the UK I'm not sure), although some people have said it should be the average wage of the people he represents (his constituents in Wrexham). I'm sure it shouldn't be too hard to find the average wage in the UK - perhaps from the ONS? I've managed to find estimates of the SSP "average worker's wage" and have included this in the article.
