Tijuana, PA?
editI rode thru Avondale (The Mushroom capital of the US, it would appear) and was very surprised to see how completely overwritten in Spanish everything seemed to be. All the stores and restaurants on the road had Spanish either alone or prominent on their signage. Not something you typically imagine in the Northeast US.
Actually Kennett Square right down the road is the Mushroom Capital of the World... :) Avondale, especially right in town, is a prominent Mexican town. --98.114.128.183 (talk) 04:37, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- There is also a significant Mexican-Hispanic population in some of the surrounding cities like Coatesville and West Chester, though not as much as Avondale. It's my understanding that many of the Avondale residents work on or are otherwise involved with the local mushroom farming industry. TheBlinkster (talk) 19:30, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified 2 external links on Avondale, Pennsylvania. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added
{{dead link}}
tag to http://www.census.gov/prod/www/abs/decennial/
- This one was actually a redirect link, not dead. I've added the new direct link manually. TheBlinkster (talk) 20:16, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
- Added archive http://www.webcitation.org/6HQu4Spqa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.census.gov%2Fpopest%2Fdata%2Fcities%2Ftotals%2F2012%2FSUB-EST2012.html to http://www.census.gov/popest/data/cities/totals/2012/SUB-EST2012.html
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20130911234518/http://factfinder2.census.gov to http://factfinder2.census.gov
- This one does not work at all - depending on date of the archive link you get an "AFF not working" or another error message. Since 2 out of 3 automatic fixes failed I'm setting this to "failed". TheBlinkster (talk) 20:19, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
