Not similar to land version

edit

I wish people would stop making connections to AAM, WAS shares only the Axis & Allies (WW2 theme) title, and that it uses miniatures, and that's it. WoTC didn't pick up WAS, only the land game. A battleship is as long as two infantry (1/1800 vs 1/100 scale), there is no crossover at all. The land game uses terrain hexes, the sea game uses a square grid. The stats on the cards aren't compatible either. It's like saying Chess and Checkers are similar. 2604:3D09:C47B:6B30:C56D:549C:7E15:3E0A (talk) 10:33, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Concerning Calling this page "Game Guide Material"

edit

Wizards of the Coast provides little to no support for this game, or the land version of this game, no 'game guide' has been produced for this game by any company. A reference note of which ships from history are in the game is pertinent as it informs people as to the historical nature of the game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.3.0.130 (talk) 19:15, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Can we get a source for the Zebra expansion set and second starter set?

Found sources, working on this page

Ok, I have the definitive rulebook, answering the question above. Now, a question of mine is, how do I submit this to get above stub-class? There is/are enough information/citations to qualify it for c or b class. Mr. Kent (talk) 01:57, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

War at Sea(1) link.

edit

The War at Sea(1) (the first set) link takes you to the description of a different game by Avalon Hill with the same title. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.44.121.7 (talk) 07:04, 28 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
