editI can't read much japanese but this article's link links to a website with suggestive (sometimes crude) illustrations. There is also mention of a dou-(however you spell the spin-off manga.) Would a proffesional truley author post those graphics on her site? Is this link genuinely that of the author of Shana? -Uchi
- That is indeed the artist's home page (though the author, of course, is Yashichiro Takahashi, not Ayato Sasakura). I don't really consider this all that surprising, however; plenty of manga artists draw erotic material and/or release doujinshi. This can be before they break into the mainstream (such as Kiyohiko Azuma), or on the side even after they make it big (like Koshi Rikudo). And of course, there are plenty of manga from respectable publishing houses that are pure cheesecake. The bottom line, though, is that it's up to the artists how they choose to present themselves. Some distance themselves from their adult works, while others embrace it wholeheartedly. Sasakura obviously chose the latter route. --Julian Grybowski 19:40, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
