Errors

edit

This article is about a school in Hereford. Both the map and the coordinates referred to an area in Peterborough. I have changed them.

Unsourced

edit

As is common with these sorts of articles, we have had an unreferenced list of notable former students. I've removed it from the article, but the list is preserved here so the entries may be re-added with references where appropriate.

I have added (with sources) some of these and struck them from this list. The only references I could easily find for Cyril Lovesey were WP:CIRCREF with the Wikipedia article... MIDI (talk) 14:13, 16 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I've just added two back here. Explanation in my edit summary. MIDI (talk) 14:54, 16 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Expansion

edit

I've identified a few areas where the article could easily be expanded. @AylestoneTechie: – would you like to help with this? We need reliable (and ideally third-party) sources for verification.

  • History
  • When was the Hereford High School for Girls founded? Removed, as there seemed to be some contradiction (see diff)
  • Was the formation of Aylestone School in 1976 the result of a merger of the girls' and boys' schools, or had that happened previously? Referenced
  • When did the school rename from Aylestone Business and Enterprise College to Aylestone School? Reference found
  • Notable alumni
  • List as above, we need reliable citations for each and every alumnus Done?
  • Pastoral
  • School houses are listed in the infobox, but not in the article body. They should be added to the body, with more detail – what are the etymologies? House colours? What is the purpose of house system?
