Station name
editTry as I might, I can't find any reference to this station being named anything other than plain "Aynho". Has anybody got an actual source for the "for Deddington" suffix? --Redrose64 (talk) 19:34, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Found it on p. 920 (second column) of the Railway Magazine from December 1964. Lamberhurst (talk) 09:24, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, quite correct: in an item headed "Services withdrawn by L.M.R.". It's a start; now, when did it gain the suffix? --Redrose64 (talk) 10:35, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
