"Azerbaijan sent a delegation to compete at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy..." Italy can be wikilinked.
"As of the conclusion of these Olympics, Azerbaijan has never won a Winter Olympics medal." The wording here seems obsolete, these Olympics are long gone, but the part prior to the comma makes it seem as though they just concluded.
"...while Teymur Jafarov, an assistant of the National Olympic Committee carried the flag for the closing ceremony." Comma after Committee.
