Deletion
editI have no major objection to the deletion. However I was trying to find the ranks in the Ottoman Army and did not find them anywhere else. The rank is quoted without any information in other articles, for instance in Muhammad Ali of Egypt. Is it better to delete the article, even if it is a stub or to provide at least some basic information what it is about?
However, the same type of stub is used for other similar information. For instance Sotnik which is quite similar, has been kept in Wikipedia since 2005. As there are no major differences in the type of information provided, why is one article acceptable for over three years and the other proposed for speedy deletion.
