Question

edit

Would Hamlet not be a better translation than Village? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.146.227.28 (talk) 11:06, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rocks

edit

The rock drilled through was gneiss, phyllite, greenstone, and phyllite.

Phyllite is mentioned two times. Is this because phyllite is occuring two times and the rocks are sorted chronologically when digging though the mountain? --Ysangkok (talk) 13:47, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

GA review (see here for criteria)

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose):   b (MoS):
    • The sentence "A report published by SBT in 1987 considered detailed plans a subsea tunnel to the mainland, which was followed up by seismic surveys in the fjord." sounds like its missing a word.
    • "They instead recommended that the municipalities chose a pontoon bridge" does not agree.
    • The sentence "Also Gisle Tjong opposed the project, stating that the risk was too large and that it was uncertain how long the tolls would last: it could just as well be 60 as 15 years" sounds awkward. Also, who is Gisle Tjong?
    • "Construction involved injection of 282 tonnes (278 long tons; 311 short tons) and spaying of 14,900 cubic meters (530,000 cu ft) of gunite." is spaying a correct term or is that a typo?
    • "The tunnel is 11 meters (36 ft) wide and has three lanes, two upwards and one downwards.", what is upwards and downwards referring to? Directions? If so, I would use the cardinal directions here.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
    • It appears the tunnel has tolls. Where is the toll plaza located and what is the toll rate for cars?
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

I will put the article on hold for some fixes to be made. Dough4872 03:51, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for taking the time to review the article. I have fixed the prose issues and added a little on the toll. Arsenikk (talk) 20:25, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
After a couple minor fixes I made myself, I will pass the article. Dough4872 23:34, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
