I wanted to go ahead and get this article moved over from my sandbox this evening, but have not had great success (to this point) finding information on the concert before 2006. If anyone would like to help out and expand the article by focusing on 1992-2006, that would most definitely be appreciated! Strikerforce (talk) 04:24, 26 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've been updating the article a lot so that it can get up-to-date with the current B96 SummerBash. It gets tougher and tougher as the years go back. Here's what I found for 1992-2006:
The Next Next Level: A Story of Rap, Friendship, and Almost Giving Up by Leon Neyfakh (Chapter 2.2 talks about the 2004 B96 SummerBash on the weekend of August 20, 2004)
2001: The Daily Herald newspaper issued on June 29, 2001 - page 61: online at https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/14060947/(subscription required) (June 30, 2001 at Route 66 Raceway)
I will start implementing all my research soon. This raises the question of whether or not the sections are too repetitive and whether this article should turn into a list instead, with columns such as year, location, performers, and notes. Discuss this issue in the "Change to a list outline?" section. SomeoneNamedDerek (talk) 00:43, 25 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

With 25 SummerBashes already taken place, I propose each section (in this case, all sections are just years) to be converted into a list format (wikitable) instead of the current format. Columns could include year of event, location, performers, and notes. I feel like having a new section for each SummerBash is redundant and could be too difficult for readers to navigate. I believe using a wikitable would cleanup the article in a simplified manner. Discuss using support/oppose. SomeoneNamedDerek (talk) 00:54, 25 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
