editThe BMW 4 Series was reportedly inspired by rival Audi who used separate nameplates for different body styles of its compact executive cars that shared the same platform and engines, the Audi A4 sedan/wagon and Audi A5 coupé/cabriolet/sportback.[1]
I think this should be removed, because BMW has used different nameplate for body styles long before audi. e24 6er was 5er in coupe form just like today's!
What about the convertible/cabriolet?
editThe convertible is now available in North America -- why is there so little mention of it here? --WilliamWQuick (talk) 20:20, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
