Poor translation
editThis article reads like it's been translated from a German article.
- True indeed. Would anybody please explain the meaning of the following sentence? "In the 5er GT - partly against surcharge - are several driver assistance systems how:" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.185.43.211 (talk) 02:35, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
This is about an upcoming car.
editWhich will be sold later this year. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Embello (talk • contribs) 05:32, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Unique trunk lid.
editI'm removing the reference to its boot lid being unique as the two stage lid thing has already been done on the Skoda superb which is available to buy right now and has been for some time, also there are other, older cars with designs that could arguably be a fore runner.(Morcus (talk) 16:10, 28 July 2009 (UTC))
why the move, then move again and a redirect?
editThe attempt of segregating articles by chassis series is un-necessary. The different chassis can be identified within the single article itself, and differences between them can be identified and referenced within the article. As there is a redirect in place for the F07, once an F08 is created it will require a redirect back to the same article anyhow, as creating it's own article will consist of 90+% repeated information from the F07 article. This is circular, wasteful and redundant. I am moving for SD of the redirecting page. Srobak (talk) 14:50, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
- You already tried that, and it's inappropriate: there's no criterion that it fits. Remember that you can always take it to WP:RFD. Nyttend (talk) 23:18, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Merger proposal
editThe 5 GT was only produced for the F10 generation (the successive 6 GT is covered in the G32 article), and shares many aspects with the other F10 body styles. Therefore I proposed that BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo is merged into BMW 5 Series (F10). Cheers, 1292simon (talk) 22:31, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- Agreed. Toasted Meter (talk) 01:08, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
