editSo much talent ... an important school ... but only a start ... just! Tell us much more about this place. How does it work? What is its history? The alumni have given this importance its up to the present students to show their IT/Journalism skills here Victuallers 15:50, 20 May 2007 (UTC) Top priority is an info box Victuallers 15:51, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
Deleted 'Propaganda Not Included' section
editDeleted Section named 'Propaganda Not Included' as there are no citations offered except the following line "Before anyone changes this all this information is based on facts from student at the school." Also very poor spelling and very poorly written. Looks like the person who put this bit in the article has something against this school. Deleted. --Adam281 14:35, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
It is important to know that the BRIT School does not now or has never used the description 'pupil'. The word student has always been used. The BRIT School is most definitely not a 'Stage School' and works hard to dispel this myth. The entrance policy of the school specifically excludes the word 'audition'. (Feb 07. Alumni?
editThere is no way that Michael Jackson went to the BRIT school, considering it was founded in 1991, when he was about 30 - far from a schooling age, I'm sure you'll agree! Also, did Kate Nash definitely go to the BRIT School? On her wikipedia page it alleges that she went to a performing arts school in North London, whereas BRIT is in Croydon. Is this a mistake on here or is it a mistake on Kate's wikipedia page? Or is it a mistake on my part? xD I'd be glad if someone could enlighten me! Principle?
editWho's the principle of the school? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.206.67.211 (talk) 19:11, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
- Its principle is laid out in the article. Its principal is Nick Williams. Dieter Simon (talk) 23:46, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Only one?
editThe article describes the BRIT School as being the only one of it's kind, but LIPA is quite similar; the LIPA article even states that Mark F-W "had set up the Brit School [..], and wanted to try his ideas on a bigger scale." THD TommyD (talk) 12:40, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

edit{{edit semi-protected}} BRIT School entry asks for disambiguation on "bdc", which is "broadcast and digital communication".

- Done, plus fixed up the section a bit. -- gtdp (T)/(C) 18:45, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
Name capitalization
editDoes anyone know why the word "Brit" is all in caps? Is it an acronym for something, or is it just pretentiousness on the part of the school authorities? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.106.220.85 (talk) 12:54, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

The Kooks
editAccording to their own wiki article [[1]], the Kooks went to Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) not the Brit School. I recommend a change. Brough87 (talk) 11:35, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
Picture of Beatles
editWhy is there a picture of the Beatles in the 'Mandate' section? 31.52.253.159 (talk) 14:28, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
