Missing incidents?
editThe article lists the May 2012 incident but not the 12 June 2012 incident. Both are mentioned at this blog, but you'd need to verify it with the original reference, though I doubt the blog is making it up.
I also didn't see (but might have missed it) mention or a link to Thurston_railway_station#Accidents_and_incidents. Thanks! —Geekdiva (talk) 03:32, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
- The RAIB report is here: [1]. It contains no mention of No. 70013, detailing an incident that occurred when shunting modern goods wagons with a forklift. Some mistake?
- I don't really regard the Thurston incident as pertinent to this locomotive (in the way that, say, Flying Scotsman's popularity has tended to cause trespass incidents), but I wouldn't object if someone else added it to the article. Pinkbeast (talk) 18:48, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
"Preservation"
editA lot of the "preservation" section seems to be uncited and often fairly trivial, the usual sort of trainspotters' log stuff that turns up here. Ping Redrose64 who seems to keep an eye on that sort of thing. Pinkbeast (talk) 12:40, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Pinkbeast: if this were an article about a film/TV franchise, most of that section would be thrown in the bin. Its presence only encourages people like Moylesy98 (talk · contribs) (who has a long history of adding such trivia, bordering on blogging). --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:51, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
