Proposed merge of Bachelor of Integrated Studies into Bachelor of Independent Studies
editdegrees appear to be different in name only, with common features, target audiences, requirements, etc. Daask (talk) 07:19, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Weak oppose on the grounds that there are several other degrees just as similar in scope, and I think that we should either keep them all separate or consolidate. I see at least:
- Bachelor of Integrated Studies
- Bachelor of Independent Studies
- Bachelor of General Studies
- Bachelor of Liberal Studies
The are all in the Liberal arts education tradition, although I accept that that term has a particular meaning in the US (given the existence of specific Liberal arts colleges). For now, I suggest linking them all, rather than merging; although a whole-sale merge would be fine too. Klbrain (talk) 10:27, 11 September 2021 (UTC)
- Closing with no merge, given that there has been no support for the proposal and the discussion is stale. Klbrain (talk) 02:17, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
