US usage

edit

In the United States and Canada the term for Bachelor of Science in Nursing is BScN, not BN. Therefore, I've edited it accordingly. If other countries call it a BN, or something else, please feel free to edit accordingly, naming the country. I will then be happy to name the U.S. as using the BSN. Thank you!

I wanted to suggest a site for consideration as an external link on this page:

[1] RNtoBSNDegree.com (edited for new URL - I moved the site)

It has a searchable directory of all (600+) of the nationally accredited RN to BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) programs in the US.

Full disclosure: it's a site I operate.

But I do feel that it would be a useful resource for this page, and I think it compares extremely well to the external links that are currently on the page, in terms of the amount of information it contains.

Thanks for your consideration. I'm new to Wikipedia, so I'm hoping that this is the right way to go about this.

Lead re-work

edit

I've taken a whack at the lead, which was a bit clumsy in trying to cater for separate countries. I think the way it reads now is slightly more country-agnostic. There are so many variants of the undergraduate nursing degree, trying to cater for them all is not a recipe for success. Comments welcome.

Neutrality and speculation, poorly sourced content

edit

@Graeme Bartlett: - I've acted to remove a significant chunk of material you've apparently moved here from another article; you're ultimately responsible for its neutrality & verifiability & due weight. (Anything "published" on drive.google.com is, prima facie, an unreliable source.) Cheers! 68.3.248.181 (talk) 06:52, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
