editI don't think this belongs in Category:Canadian lifestyle magazines. It is published in North Carolina, USA. Did somebody confuse this with the Canadian magazine "Downhome"? 96.239.150.91 (talk) 21:03, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
The correct title in the links is Countryside & Small Stock Journal. There are other 'Countryside' magazines, causing some confusion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.153.109.70 (talk) 19:49, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
Out of business
editThey appear to have closed up shop in the summer of 2014. The following notice is posted (with no date) on their home page: "After 24 years in business, BackHome is sad to announce that we have ceased publication. The suspension of future issues was brought on by the bankruptcy and loss of payment from one of our major distributors. Like many other publications, both large and small, caught up in this corporate restructuring we found ourselves unable to keep up with the ongoing costs of printing a bimonthly magazine. We have contracted with Permaculture Magazine to fulfill remaining issues of active subscriptions. We also plan on continuing to offer back issues, in print and digital format, as well as books and products while supplies last. Please browse our online store to see what we have available. Thank you all for your support over the years." The most recent back issue listed for sale is dated May/June 2014. 24.61.4.237 (talk) 21:25, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
