Box Set! Not a remix-album
editBad 25 consists the re-issued Bad, demos & remixes, a live CD, and a DVD. That means this is a box set. Parabola1999 (talk) 14:58, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- Understood, I was just following the formula of Thriller 25. MLVD (talk) 14:57, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Single:I Just Can't Stop Loving You
edit"I Just Can't Stop Loving You/Don't Be Messin' Around (Demo)" Released: June 5, 2012 "I Just Can't Stop Loving You/Baby Be Mine" Released: June 26, 2012
They seem to be the same single with different B-side. Parabola1999 (talk) 14:58, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- The official source mentions both releases, so that is correct. MLVD (talk) 15:00, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- Both releases exist, but they are just different versions of a single. As we know, a single can be in different versions with different track list, but they are the same single. Parabola1999 (talk) 15:06, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

Questions regarding TWYMMF and live CD setlist.
editTWYMMF was not performed 07.16.1988. It is unclear, whether we are going to get this performance as a bonus video or not. So, stop adding this track to the setlist. Dirty Diana, however, was performed.
At the moment we dont know what is the exact tracklist for the live CD. It might not be the same as on DVD. We also do not know anything about the demo CD tracklist. Lassoboy (talk) 09:49, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
It's said on MJJUnderground.com that "We’ve just got word of another confirmed performance included on the Bad 25 DVD: The Way You Make Me Feel as part of the encore with Man in the Mirror." Whether the song was really performed is still uncertain. User:HappyLee — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.48.207.195 (talk) 11:59, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
Bad 25 documentary film by Spike Lee
editSpike Lee is directing a documentary for the album's anniversary. Here's a few references about it: [1] [2] [3], so info about the film can be added to the article. QuasyBoy (talk) 18:53, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
Info in Tracklists
editIt should not escape anybody's attention that Disc 3 (the CD with the live performance) contains tracks that are alll also included in the DVD (Live at Wembley July 16, 1988). As such, it is a complete waste of time/storage/bandwidth to wikilink every song in both tracklists. It is also a complete waste of time to add writers to every song. So please can we stop re-adding these. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.175.34.86 (talk) 19:55, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
This seems to have been turned into an edit war. the edits that have been made are:
- Removing wikilinks to songs that already have 2 or 3 wikilinks on the same page. This just wastes storage and makes the page load slower.
- Removing trivia. All MJ concerts have lots of special guests. It doesn't matter who attends a concert if they cannot be seen or heard on the CD or DVD.
- Removing list of writers for each song on the DVD, bearing in mind that it's exactly the same songs as those on CD3, and largely the same as CD1, and therefore the writers are the same. Indeed, the only reason the tracklist is included at all is because the running length is slightly different. If it wasn't for this, the DVD tracklist would not be included, and the article would just say "same songs as CD3".
- Some random edit to change the structure of the internal link to the Bad World Tour to one that flows better. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.175.34.86 (talk) 21:24, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
Revised approach
editSince the CD3 is really just an abridged version of the DVD, I've merged the two tracklists. There are now two columns for length, firstly the length of each song on the CD, and then the full length of the same song on the DVD. It works a lot better. Does anybody know if it's possible to rename the column heading? Would be nice to be more specific, eg Length on DVD for consistency.
- It's good to know that nobody disagrees with me enough to say anything here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.175.37.54 (talk) 01:35, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

Smooth Criminal was the best song ever
editI really like Smooth Criminal song because it helps me to make me feel movement. TopCashBack2 (talk) 04 December 2012. —Preceding undated comment added 10:58, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Tracklists. Again.
editThere is a section above which sets out the reasons for not repeating the tracklist. Nobody has replied since September, which indicates that nobody disagrees. The live CD contains duplicate copies of the same recording of the same performance of the same songs in the same order as the live DVD. They are exactly the same. The only difference is the interlude (missing on CD) and the two bonus tracks (missing on CD). I've previously linked several other examples similar to this, and in those cases one copy is enough. We don't need 2 kilobytes of neatly formatted tracklist, much less one with duplicate writing credits. I'd say there were three ways forward
- There is no tracklist for the CD. We simply include a note to say it's the same as the DVD
- There is a very minimal tracklist, with no writing credits (and no wikilinking of titles!)
- We include both tracklists in the same template, with a dash in the length column to indicate that the bonus tracks are not available.
So which is it to be? I propose we revert back to the version by Widefox...
Stylisation
editCan we make an edit to the opening sentence to read "Bad 25 (stylised as BAD 25) is the"...
The album name of "Bad" is given in capitals every time it is mentioned in the booklet accompanying the album. For instance, from John Branca an John McClain's foreword on the opening page, in the introduction written before the Disc 2 tracklist, and in the credits at the back:
"And now, to celebrate BAD's 25th anniversary" "BAD truly marked Michael Jackson's creative 'coming of age'" "The recordings included in this package reflect the songs as they existed during BAD's recording sessions" "A lot of time was spent listening to all of the recordings in the archives from the BAD era" "...the three recordings that were included in the 2001 re-release of the BAD album" "BAD is dedicated to Michael's children"... "BAD25 Credits"
Given that the package (along with the original album and the accompanying documentary) is repeatedly stylised as BAD 25, in capitals, I think this should be mentioned in the article.Sylvestermccoyfan7 (talk) 13:12, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
