Name

So, what is it—Baden or Ocheretivka?—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); October 19, 2010; 15:07 (UTC)

• Neither name exists on the current Ukrainian map, but both are mentioned at Schwarzmeerdeutsche, at Роздільнянський район, and on German emigre websites — Maliepa (talk) 01:31, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Based on what uk:Роздільнянський район says, "Baden" was the name of the German colony which existed there in the 19th century, while Ocheretivka is a more modern name. The village is listed (as Ocheretivka) in the 1947 book of the administrative-territorial divisions of the Ukrainian SSR, but not in the 1979 book, so it probably disappeared somewhere in between. At any rate, I think the article needs to be moved to "Ocheretivka", as it is a more modern name, while "Baden" should only be mentioned in the historical contest. But I may be wrong.
