editAs some edits have been reverted, please can we form a consensus on this page's content and format? In particular:
1: Do we want a detailed discussion of the surname, or would this be better moved to a suitably sourced new surname page or removed entirely, leaving the standard introduction on the dab?
2: Should we include partial title matches such as Bagha Kusmar and Bagha Purana?
3: Should the section on people include a directory of Linkedin pages for people with no mention on Wikipedia or indication of notability?
4: Should the See also section consist of a list of other surnames, or be limited to terms which could be confused with Bagha because they have a similar spelling or pronunciation? Third opinions welcome, Certes (talk) 11:20, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- 1. I think the surname discussion is OK here. It is (mostly) sourced and not too long. There are other similar dab pages, it is relevant, and moving it to a separate article would leave two small articles with no greater usefulness to the reader. 2. Depends, PTMs OK without knowledge that is never referred to by the partial name. 3. No for many reasons. 4. Limited. MB 14:18, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- 1: If and only if there is reliably sourced information about the surname, as opposed to just a list of names, then create a surname page
- 2: Are either of them likely to be referred to, even informally or locally, simply as "Bagha!? If so, include; if not, don't.
- 3: No, neither as a section of a dab page nor as a separate surname page
- 4: It depends whether the terms are likely to be easily confused with the dab page topic.
