Rashid, Bajloor (2012). "Bangladesh Cuisine". The Bangladesh Cuisine. 12 (December): 20., which is available online at [1] was removed because it fails verification. It says nothing about Rashid's birthplace, when he came to the UK, or why.
Dover Express and Ashford Herald are both titles of the regional newspaper publisher Local World. The stories that appeared simultaneously in the two are not intellectually independent of each other. The Dover Express one is a truncated version of the Ashford Herald one, word-for-word the same until the last few sentences, and the few words that are different don't affect the meaning or support anything different in the Wikipedia article. The Dover Express was removed because nothing is gained by citing the Dover Express on top of the Ashford Herald. It is redundant, misleading, increases citation clutter, and increases verification and maintenance overhead.
The citation: . Bangla Mirror. 27 September 2013. {{cite news}}: Italic or bold markup not allowed in: |publisher= (help); Missing or empty |title= (help) is incomplete. A full citation to an alternative source was substituted that fully supports the sentence "In September 2013, he was elected as Chairman of the Progressive Life Insurance Company."
Having received no response in a week, I'm rolling these improvements forward. If any objection to them remains, kindly discuss it here. In addition to the above,
The Daily Sun citation is incomplete. It may refer to the caption of a photo published on 16 April 2014, or perhaps to the full story, titled "NRB entrepreneurs keen to invest in Bangladesh", published on 17 April 2014. Neither gives any greater support to the statement "In 2014, he became president of the UK Bangladesh Catalysts of Commerce and Industry" than the already cited BSS agency report. If for some reason the BSS is not felt to be sufficient, any number of alternatives that lend equal support would be preferable to the Daily Sun because they are readily available to readers online, unlike the poorly archived Daily Sun. For example: The Financial Express, Dhaka Tribune, Holiday, The Sunrise Today, or Sylhet Mirror.
The Bangladesh Cuisine vol. 6 citation is incomplete. It is cited to support the statement "Rashid has been involved in assisting the plight of communities affected by some of the world's worst natural disasters such as Cyclone Sidr." This is already adequately supported by "Celebrations at the BCA Annual Dinner" in Curry Life, which describes the BCA's fundraising for "victims of the Bangladesh cyclone" and quotes Bajloor Rashid in connection with the fundraising dinner. Although it doesn't name Sidr on page 31, it is clear from reading the rest of the issue or from historical context that Sidr is the cyclone in question. So The Bangladesh Cuisine vol. 6 is redundant.
